An IPA Top 225 Public Accounting firm is looking to hire a fully remote Tax Manager to join their firm!

• Review tax returns for individuals, businesses, estates, and trusts; address complex tax issues and IRS notices.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and provide strategic consulting to clients.
• Oversee multiple client engagements, budgets, and deliverables.
• Support business development by meeting with prospects, preparing proposals, and expanding services.
• Develop client relationships through creative service enhancements and networking.
• Deliver in-house training, write tax-related articles, and participate in industry events.
• Assist with recruiting efforts and mentoring staff.
• Accurately record time and expenses for efficient billing.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Lead and mentor staff, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Plan and manage projects effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance (Master's preferred).
• Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent preferred
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with increasing complexity in tax preparation.
• Proven supervisory experience (minimum two years).
• Exposure to clients in a variety of industries. We are looking for an industry generalist.
