Staff Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team, focusing on ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic environment while utilizing your accounting expertise.

• Review and reconcile IT invoices based on data entered in the project management tool.
• Verify labor invoices against timesheets to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Analyze contracts and statements of work for relevant details.
• Create contracts or purchase requisitions based on information from statements of work.
• Collaborate with vendors to monitor aging items and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Work alongside the Project Management Team to facilitate smooth operations.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and ensure compliance with internal control policies.
• Gather information from business partners to support accruals and adjustments.

• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in reconciling invoices and ensuring accuracy in financial processes.
• Experience with Planview and Ariba software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in the retail industry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

The pay range for this role is $17 - $42 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
