CPA or Tax Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable CPA or Tax Preparer with significant tax preparation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role is crucial in assisting clients with their tax preparation needs, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all filings.

EXPERIENCE WITH TAX PREPARATION IS A MUST.

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Analyze financial documents to determine accurate tax obligations.
• Provide guidance on tax-related inquiries and financial concepts to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
• Utilize technical accounting skills to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Assist clients in organizing necessary documentation for tax preparation.
• Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members on complex tax situations, including corporate accounting matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards in public accounting.

• 2+ years proven experience in tax preparation or a related field is preferred.
• Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of tax regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with financial concepts and the ability to analyze financial statements.
• Proficiency in Quick Books Software.
• Experience in corporate accounting is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
