Work Hours: Full-Time.
Expected Starting Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000.

Starting compensation rate is determined on qualifications and experience. Qualified applicants could start at the high end or above the posted range.

Our company was founded in 2022, and we currently have a 100% remote team of 25+. We have 70+ active clients across industries such as Consulting, Marketing, Healthcare, SaaS, Info Products, Ecommerce, Cybersecurity, B2B Agencies, Home Services, Law Firms, and more. They’re typically anywhere from $1MM - $30MM in annual revenue.

We strive to be "The Bentley of Accounting Firms" for our market. We’re experiencing quick growth and are looking for Top Tier accountants and financial professionals to Squad Up with us.

As a Staff Accountant your mission is to equip our clients with accurate financial statements so we can provide them with the financial insights they need to grow their business.

• Ensure transactions are accurately categorized into the proper accounts, optimizing the chart of accounts for business growth and tax analysis.
• Reconcile bank accounts using bank statements and accounting software to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Regularly update the project management system and client internal channels with relevant information.
• Create SOPs related to your role as you tackle new challenges.
• Follow the outlined client categorization schedule; each client is categorized at least once per week.
• Report progress and bring questions to management; meet with team lead multiple times per week; attend weekly full‑team meetings to maintain operational alignment.
• Fill out end‑of‑day and end‑of‑week recap forms summarizing work performed, upcoming tasks, roadblocks, and improvement suggestions.
• Handle occasional AP/AR/Payroll tasks as required for some clients.

• Expert in Quick Books Online
• Strong Understanding of How Categorizations Affect Financial Statements
• 1+ Years Experience Working in Quick Books Online
• Ability to Optimize Chart of Accounts
• Ability to Make Adjusting Journal Entries
• Resourceful & Adaptable Mindset
• Strong Attention to Detail
• U.S. Based, Native Level English Speaking & Writing Skills
• Reliable Internet and Quiet Office Space
• Tech Setup for Remote Work (Webcam, Microphone)
• Experience with Google Workspace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
• Available to Work a Full Time Schedule

• CPA Preferred but Not Required
