Our client, a technology division of a Fortune 500 firm, is looking for a Tax Accountant. This role would be responsible for supporting the company’s tax-related activities including preparation, filing, reconciliation, and compliance for sales and use tax, VAT, and property taxes.
- Prepare and file timely and accurate sales and use tax returns; ensure compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
- Maintain and update tax schedules, rates, and jurisdictional requirements across multiple regions.
- Reconcile tax accounts (sales and use, VAT, and property tax) to the general ledger and prepare adjusting journal entries as needed.
- Register for sales and use tax accounts in new jurisdictions as the company expands.

Requirements:
- 1+ years direct or indirect tax experience
