We’re partnering with an accounting firm seeking a Japanese Bilingual Tax Manager. Must have a CPA or EA license and 5 years of tax related accounting experience.
Japanese Bilingual Tax Manager or Sr. Tax ManagerLocation: Remote with preference for candidates who can work in the Eastern Time zone
Type: Full-time Direct Hire
Responsibilities- Review complex tax returns (corporate, partnership, expatriate, dual status) and oversee correspondence with tax authorities.
- Research and interpret tax regulations, guide staff on technical issues.
- Review transfer pricing reports and tax provisions; prepare advanced analyses when needed.
- Lead client meetings, address inquiries, and identify additional service opportunities.
- Manage multiple engagements, budgets, and deadlines while supervising Staff and Seniors.
- Coach junior team members, provide feedback, and support a collaborative work environment.
- Stay current on tax developments and ensure effective use of technology.
- Japanese and English bilingual level language skill required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or EA required.
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Experience preparing various individual and business tax returns.
- Strong tax software and MS Office skills.
