We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Auditor with a focus on nonprofit and governmental entities
.This role focuses on completing and coordinating nonprofit and governmental audit engagements, training staff, and serving as a key point of contact for clients. The Senior Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring audit quality, mentoring team members, and organizing engagements efficiently from planning through issuance.

Job Duties- Coordinate audit engagements for nonprofit and governmental clients from planning through completion.
- Develop audit plans, risk assessments, and engagement timelines.
- Train and mentor auditors; review work papers and provide constructive feedback.
- Perform and review substantive testing, internal control testing, and compliance testing (including Uniform Guidance, when applicable).
- Identify accounting, auditing, and internal control issues and propose practical solutions.
- Prepare and review financial statements, audit reports, and management letters.
- Communicate effectively with client management regarding audit status, findings, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with managers and partners to ensure engagements are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Stay current on accounting and auditing standards applicable to nonprofit and governmental entities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure (preferred)
- Minimum of 2–4 years of audit experience in public accounting
- Experience auditing nonprofit and/or governmental organizations preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, auditing standards, and nonprofit accounting principles
- Working knowledge of Uniform Guidance and compliance requirements (preferred)
