Corporate Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Controller

Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for partnering with executive level management, cross functional accounting team at all levels, the consolidated financial close, financial reporting, researching technical accounting pronouncements, publishing technical white papers/memos, supervising a team of 2 (Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant), making value added recommendations to enhance/drive operating efficiencies.

Compensation: $145k-$170k salary, plus 20% bonus program, and profit sharing participation.

This investment company is based on the Peninsula within the San Francisco Bay Area. The company is seeking to hire professionals having residence within the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a primarily remote position for candidates in the area, and you would need to be flexible twice a month to participate onsite with team meetings, team dinners, etc. The company also welcomes and can support team members that would like to be onsite 5 days per week.

You must have approximately 5-12 years of increasing accounting experience, and possessing highly motivated curiosity. You are required to be detail oriented, having strong organizational and communication skills, and you must be flexible with competing deadlines.

• You must have accounting or audit experience ideally within companies associated with the Alternative Assets Sector (VC, PE, REIT, Leasing Portfolio, etc.)
• You should possess at minimum a Bachelor's Degree and ideally a completed CPA license or working towards the completion of your CPA license.
• You should possess experience with the complete consolidated picture of multi-entity financial statements and intercompany reconciliations.
