Seeking a readily available Accounts Receivable Specialist! This role focuses heavily on cash application, applying payments, and some light collections. The position is hybrid, with 4 days onsite 1 day work-from-home each week.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities - Accounts Receivable

• Process and apply customer payments accurately (Cash Application)
• Post daily cash receipts and reconcile AR accounts
• Generate and send customer invoices
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balances
• Conduct light collections to resolve outstanding invoices
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Prepare routine AR and cash reports
• Assist with month-end close tasks related to AR
• Maintain organized and accurate customer account records

Qualifications - Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, or general accounting
• Strong understanding of AR processes including invoicing, payment posting, and collections
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP software
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
