Senior Accountant
Our Vaco team is partnering with a healthcare client on an interim Senior Accountant (HEALTHCARE REQUIRED). This group in particular is looking for someone with physician or hospital healthcare experience (i.e. dental, urgent care, hospital, ASC,surgery center, etc.). Joint venture experience is also a plus.
Candidates without physician accounting experience will not be considered.
This Senior Accounting consultant will support across month-end close for healthcare facilities, with a heavy emphasis on contract management and analysis.
Candidates that meet these minimum qualifications will be considered:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or similar
- 2+ years offull-cycle accounting experience in a multi-site, acute care, or physician based healthcare organization
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with multi-site close, intercompany, and cash in addition to traditional GL accounting background
- Willing to work over-time during month-end close
