This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Accounting Assistant - REMOTE. This role is essential for our partner's operations team, focusing on the accurate processing of invoices and billing-related tasks. As an Accounting Assistant, you will ensure timely payments while collaborating with various teams to maintain financial accuracy. This fully remote position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently while being part of a diverse team.

Ideal candidates will be located in the Central Time Zone and available during standard business hours.

Accountabilities
  • Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
  • Match purchase orders and receipts to invoices, resolving discrepancies when needed.
  • Prepare Accounts Payable (AP) voucher entries for approval and posting.
  • Support monthly billing cycles and reconcile project billing with internal teams.
  • Monitor AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support for special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting Support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of AP voucher entry systems and project billing processes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy within structured workflows.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and digital filing systems.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must reside within Central Time Zone.
  • Must be able to occasionally travel to the office for staff meetings (a few times a year).
