Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Tampa, FL, with flexibility to work from home on occasion. The Accounts Payable Clerk will handle daily tasks such as processing invoices, managing accounts payable, maintaining accounting records, issuing payments and ensuring all financial transactions comply with company policies. The role also involves responding to inquiries, reconciling accounts, and providing support for financial audits.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and experience with Invoicing
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience in accounts payable or relevant accounting field is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- Ability to adapt to hybrid working environments effectively
