Senior Property Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant Consultant to join our team on a temporary basis. This hybrid position offers a mix of in-office and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring collaborative efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess strong real estate accounting experience and expertise in using Yardi.

• Review the General Ledger (GL) and handle balance sheet reviews.
• Manage property accounting financials and ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate daily with a third-party accounting firm during month-end to provide necessary information, supervise, direct, and review their work to ensure proper close-out.
• Conduct financial reviews and approvals, maintaining a 10-day close schedule.
• Manage 8-10 properties primarily located on the West Coast (CA, AZ, NV, TX, and WA).

• Strong real estate accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Yardi software.
• Ability to review and manage the General Ledger and balance sheets.
• Experience in collaborating with third-party accounting firms.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a dynamic environment.
