Remote Technical Accounting Manager

In this role, you will lead the charge in ensuring precise revenue recognition and overseeing technical accounting assessments within a fast-growing, global business environment. Working closely with various stakeholders such as Sales, Legal, and FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in contract reviews, establishing strong internal controls, and providing vital audit support.

• Own the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring adherence under ASC 606.
• Partner with sales operations and accounting teams to manage invoicing and deferred revenue recognition.
• Lead month-end close activities including revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate contracts and revenue implications.
• Maintain audit readiness through solid technical accounting documentation.
• Leverage systems like SAP S/4
  
  Hana to improve revenue processes.
• Opportunities to lead the global external audit process, based on experience.

• 8+ years of revenue accounting experience in an enterprise software company.
• Proven experience with ASC 606, ASC 340, and other US GAAP areas.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
• Operational experience with billing and systems integration is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, G-Suite, Salesforce, and SAP S/4
