About the PositionThe Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting supports the Sr. Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting in the preparation and review of SEC filings, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal reporting standards. The role is responsible for researching and documenting technical accounting matters and preparing audit‑ready accounting memos. This position also assists with quarterly and annual earnings materials, supports SOX controls over financial reporting, and serves as a primary point of contact for external auditors on assigned areas.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Execute the preparation and review of SEC filings (Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q and 8‑K), supporting the Sr. Director in ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Draft and maintain technical accounting memos and other disclosure support for all SEC filings, ensuring support is audit ready.
- Assess accounting and disclosure implications of transactions, new initiatives, and new accounting standards or SEC regulations, and communicate findings and options to the Sr. Director.
- Assist the Sr. Director with the preparation and review of other quarterly and annual earnings materials, including earning press release, earnings supplemental materials and earnings script.
- Research, interpret, and document technical accounting issues, including but not limited to business combinations, leases and share‑based compensation, in accordance with U.S. GAAP, preparing position papers and recommendations for review and approval by the Sr. Director.
- Support the design, documentation, and execution of SOX controls related to our system of internal control over financial reporting.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors on assigned areas, responding to inquiries and facilitating issue resolution under the direction of the Sr. Director.

Minimum Education and Related Work Experience- • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- • Seven (7) years of experience with U.S. GAAP accounting including at least three (3) plus years of SEC reporting experience
- • Seven (7) years of experience in public accounting, at a large public company or a combination of both
- • Master’s degree in accounting or related field
