Position: Jr. or Staff Accountant    (2 days Remote/Doral)
Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry level or Staff Accountant to join our team in Doral, Florida. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to advance their accounting and financial analysis expertise. The position offers a balanced work environment with hybrid remote schedule and great benefits.

2 days Remote and 3 in-office

Salary: $55,000-$68,000

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and ensure timely updates.

- Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

- Review the general ledger to verify transaction accuracy and manage accruals as needed.

- Compile and analyze financial data for month-end close and reporting purposes.

- Conduct variance analysis, revenue recognition, and profit and loss assessments to support business decisions.

- Prepare reports on expenses, claims, and cash flow while identifying key financial trends.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel tools, such as pivot tables and vlookups, for data analysis and reporting.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.

Requirements

- Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.

- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.

- Experience in performing account reconciliations with attention to detail.

- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
