Overview
We’re hiring a Seasonal Senior Tax Accountant for this tax season. This role will focus on preparation and review of complex individual and business tax returns. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys working with a collaborative CPA firm team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals (1040), partnerships (1065), S-Corporations (1120S), C-Corporations (1120), trusts and estates (1041) as applicable
- Assist with extension calculations and quarterly estimates
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license preferred
- 4+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Experience with tax software (e.g., Ultra Tax, GoSystem)
- Ability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and client communication skills
- Multi-state taxation
- High-net-worth individual returns
- Pass-through entity taxation
- Tax planning and projections
