• Previous experience in a traditional Accounts Payable supervisory role is required.

• The Staff Accountant will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards while contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Sales Tax Returns.
• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Support accounts payable and purchasing processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Prepare financial reports and assist in financial report interpretation for management review.
• Process expense reports and train co-workers on completing this process.

• Fluency in English is required. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Job Type: Position will start at Part‑time hours 12pm to 6pm M thru F
* can become a full time position.

Work Location:

In person. Work from home or remote work is not an option.

• Experience 2‑5 years of Accounting experience is required in a small to medium sized company.
• Associate's Degree in Business or Accounting is REQUIRED; however we will consider relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Familiarity with public accounting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes is required.
• Knowledge of financial concepts including accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and financial management is required.
• Experience With ERP Is Required. Preferred Sage/Sage Intacct Experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform financial analysis and account analysis effectively.
• Proficiency with Google suite is required.
• Proficiency with AI/Chat GPT & Internal Chat programs is required.
