Experienced Accountant​/Bookkeeper

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper based in Voorhees, NJ, with some flexibility for remote work. The individual in this role will support the legal accounting and law firm clients at H&S. This individual will handle a variety of day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, ensuring Iolta trust compliance, assisting in financial ethics investigations and audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Additional responsibilities may include assisting clients with budgeting, audits, and providing financial insights to enhance business operations.

• 3-5 Years of Accounting/Bookkeeping Experience Required
• Proficiency in general accounting principles, financial record management, and reconciliations
• Strong skills in bookkeeping, including data entry, payroll processing, and accounts payable/receivable management
• Experience with accounting software, such as Quick Books or other similar platforms, is essential
• Analytical skills necessary for preparing financial statements and supporting financial decision-making
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple clients
• Ability to work independently
• Interest to learn and grow in this space is a must
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Law firm or trust accounting experience is a plus
