Inventory Accountant

Innovar Group is partnering with a growing Denver-based organization seeking a driven and analytical Inventory Accountant to own inventory valuation, 3PL reconciliation, and cost accuracy in a high-SKU, seasonal product environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into variances, improving processes, and taking real ownership over inventory integrity and margin protection.

• 4 years of inventory and/or cost accounting experience
• Strong experience reconciling ERP to 3PL inventory systems
• Direct ownership of inventory valuation
• Background in high-SKU and/or seasonal inventory environments
• ERP experience required (Net Suite strongly preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex lookups, data modeling)
• Strong understanding of FIFO, Average Cost, and Standard Cost methodologies

• Lead ERP–3PL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Validate landed cost allocations and inventory costing
• Ensure COGS and margin accuracy
• Improve inventory controls and accounting processes
• Build and enhance reporting dashboards
• Support physical inventory counts and cycle counts
• Partner with operations and finance on forecasting support
• Drive continuous process improvement
