Senior Accounting Consultant

Location: Newport Beach
- Hybrid with four days onsite and Fridays work from home

Assignment Type: 6 months with potential to extend or convert

Compensation: $45 to $55 per hour

A fast growing financial services company is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to support the accounting team during a critical ERP implementation and audit period. The ideal candidate comes from a public accounting background with banking or lending experience and is comfortable stepping into fast paced, changing environment.

• Support ERP implementation from an accounting perspective
• Assist with reconciliations and data tie outs between ERP Systems
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month end close and financial reporting
• Ensure financials are audit ready and respond to auditor requests
• Help strengthen internal controls and documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Required banking or lending industry experience
• Public accounting background required
• Hands on, detail oriented, and comfortable in a fast paced environment
