The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Senior Accountant who wants real ownership. This is a visible, high‑trust role in a lean, fast‑growing company. You’ll sit at the center of day‑to‑day operations, partnering directly with the Controller to scale and elevate the accounting function.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys improving how accounting systems work, not just completing tasks. You’ll be comfortable understanding the system, making it better, and helping ensure operations are reliable over time.
The RoleReporting to the Controller, you’ll be deeply involved in day‑to‑day operational accounting work, including AR, AP, billing, and expense‑related processes. You’ll play a key role in month‑end close and financial reporting while ensuring financial activity is properly recorded, reconciled, and supported.
What You’ll Own Day‑to‑Day Accounting OperationsYou’ll be the anchor of accounting operations:
- Execute monthly customer billing for contract‑based services
- Serve as primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries and vendor discrepancies
- Manage AR and AP workflows, including reviewing work produced by outsourced team members to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement and inventory accounting activities
- Prepare and review journal entries (accruals, allocations, revenue, etc.)
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyze revenue and expense fluctuations and explain the drivers
- Help interpret financial results to support business decision‑making
- 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GAAP foundation
- Experience owning GL areas and month‑end close
- Hands‑on experience with billing, AP, AR, and expense reporting
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently in a fast‑moving environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce, , Expensify, & Excel
- Experience working with outsourced accounting teams
- Demonstrated process improvement and automation experience (AI tools, workflow design, etc.)
- Experience in telecom, infrastructure, construction, or project‑based industries
- Moves comfortably between detailed execution and big‑picture thinking
- Values professional accountability and consistently follows through

Work HoursCompany hours meet our customers’ and internal clients’ needs. This is an exempt position, so the hours of work will be dependent on the work that needs to be addressed to accomplish the work ascribed to this position.
TravelTravel up to 15% of the time
- Base salary
: $100,000-$135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and location - Bonus

This role is subject to a hybrid office/remote arrangement, reporting into one of our core offices in either Atlanta, GA
