This is a full-time position for a SAAS Accountant based in Carlsbad, CA with a hybrid remote/office opportunity with a minimum of 3 days a week in office for the right candidate. The SAAS Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing accounts, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition for subscription-based services. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing billing and payment processes, performing reconciliations, and collaborating with internal teams to streamline accounting workflows.

The selected candidate will support audit and regulatory compliance efforts, as well as suggest improvements to financial operations.

• Strong understanding of SAAS revenue recognition, subscription billing, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with expertise in platforms like Quick Books and Hub Spot or similar systems
• Ability to perform financial reconciliations, prepare budgets, and analyze accounting data
• Familiarity with audit processes, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance preferred
• Prior experience in the SAAS industry or working in a technology-driven company is highly beneficial
