Location: Plano, TX (On-site for the first 90 days, then 1-2 days remote work per week)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee tax projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Perform comprehensive tax compliance activities for both individual and business clients, including preparation, planning, and projections.
Analyze and review complex tax returns, utilizing extensive tax knowledge to achieve optimal results.
Conduct in-depth tax research and manage inquiries, resolutions, and correspondence efficiently.
Supervise accounting procedures and financial reporting, providing exceptional client services.
Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting their professional development and a high-performance culture.
Collaborate with team leaders to devise strategies for client growth and operational enhancements.

Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a dedicated focus on tax returns across at least three consecutive tax seasons.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Exceptional analytical skills and a meticulous approach to problem-solving.
Experience in tax compliance, risk assessment, and internal controls.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
