Responsible for keeping businesses compliant with various local, state, and federal tax regulations
What will your job look like?- You will assist in preparing and executing the annual and monthly tax returns for the US entities of the Amdocs group, as well as certain foreign entities with US filing obligations, including federal, state and local corporate income tax returns, sales tax returns, various withholding tax returns and all related returns (such as forms 1099) appropriate for the United States
- You will assist in ensuring that the company complies with relevant tax laws and that tax returns and payments are processed on time
- You will assist in reviewing invoices and financial statements to ensure compliance with both direct and indirect tax regulations
- You will complete and review income tax provisions for each legal entity, ensuring timeliness and accuracy for statutory audit and internal purposes.
- You will liaison with external auditors, external tax agents and tax offices
- You will assist in responding to various requirements from tax authorities, including in relation to federal, state or local tax audits.
- 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on US federal and state tax compliance
- Knowledge in preparing US corporate income tax returns, sales and use tax returns and all related forms
- Certified CA or CPA
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel - up to the advanced level
- Knowledge in basic accounting and understanding of accounting systems - advantage
- Acquaintance with US GAAP tax accounting rules
- Experience at a Tier 1 accounting firm and within a company - significant advantage
- Knowledge and familiarity with various AI tools and an "AI first" mindset - significant advantage
