We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Assistant Controller to support the company’s financial operations and strengthen the integrity of its reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is ready to step into a key leadership position on the accounting team.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and help maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation.
• Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial insights and operational support.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement efficiency‑driven solutions.
• Serve as a backup to the Controller and help mentor junior accounting staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
