Accounting Consultant – Remote Flexibility
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a government contractor in Montgomery County.
- Due to an acquisition, they are looking to bring on an Accounting Consultant to work fully remote.
- Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
- Pay: $67-70/hr depending on experience
- Duration: 3-6 months
Overview of the Accounting Consultant role:
- Completing 30-60-90 day assessments
- Identifying gaps and setting priorities
- Supporting ME Close, Reporting, and Analysis
- Ad hoc projects/reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Consultant:
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related is a plus
- 5+ years at a Controller/C-Suite level
- Government contracting experience is required
- Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
