Staff Accountant – Real Estate; WFH

This is a newly created role driven by continued growth, offering hands‑on exposure to multiple areas of real estate accounting. You’ll work alongside a supportive, experienced team, receive strong mentorship, and enjoy the flexibility to work from home on Fridays once training is complete.

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting for a portfolio of properties, including general ledger activity and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate property‑level financials and assist with month‑end and year‑end close
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Partner with development, property management, and asset management teams to support active projects
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Support annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience (real estate or property accounting a plus)
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar systems preferred
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment
