We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join our growing team s role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month‑end close, while also assisting with audits and vendor invoice processing. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Quick Books Online, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP, along with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
While the role is remote, candidates located in Seattle or Los Angeles are preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in Quickbooks
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Assist in month‑end, and year‑end close processes
Receive, review and process vendor invoices
Assist with audit preparation and tax compliance activities
Complete Ad hoc accounting related requests
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of accounting experience (private accounting with some public accounting experience preferred)
Highly experienced with Excel and Quickbooks online
Strong understanding of GAAP
Strong verbal and written communication skills
