To be considered for this position, Polston is currently hiring remote telework positions for workers located in AL, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, , IN, IA, KS, MD, MA, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI. Polston is not currently accepting applications from any additional states. Moreover, remote workers may not telework for Polston entities from any location not listed as a hiring location.

Salary from $48,000 per year

What Will You Do?

The Financial Accountant II will maintain the bookkeeping for multiple clients.

  • Prepare financial statements subject to review.
  • Process payroll.
  • Prepare payroll reports.
  • Prepare sales tax reports and 1099 annual filings.
  • Contact clients via email, phone, and regular mail to request documentation necessary to complete the financial statements.
  • Respond in a timely manner to client inquiries and requests.

Requirements

What Do You Need?

The Financial Accountant II will have a minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and a love for math, calculations, and financial analysis.

  • Bachelor's degree, required (accounting degree)
  • Equipment, such as computer, phone, etc. needed to perform assigned work tasks.
  • Internet - a minimum of 50 Mbps internet service with a recommended speed of 100 Mbps for optimal performance.
  • Quick Books experience, required.
  • Positive attitude and customer service mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with great follow up.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the skill to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Capacity to work efficiently on assigned tasks independently or with little supervision.
  • The ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.
  • Capacity to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Satisfactory background and reference checks including employment verification.
