Our client, a boutique tax firm serving clients from many professions and fields that focuses on complex tax issues, is seeking a Experienced Tax Senior / Preparer who is a resourceful and motivated CPA (or EA) to be the next successful member of their growing firm. Their focus is serving clients for all their tax needs in addition to being a trusted advisor.
Job Description- Prepare complex Tax Returns of varying complexities for businesses (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065), individuals (Form 1040) and trusts (Form 1041)
- Prepare tax projections/estimates as necessary
- Research tax questions as necessary
- Interface with IRS and other tax agencies regarding client issues and audits
- Collaborate effectively and efficiently with all firm employees
- Provide timely, high quality client service
Required Qualifications
- CPA and/or Enrolled Agent license (or in the process of obtaining)
- 3+ years of recent experience in tax and tax accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience using Quick Books and Lacerte Tax software
- Experience with Fiduciary Tax Returns
- Experience with Individual International Taxes
- 401(k)
