Senior Grants Accountant

Advance Human Rights as a Senior Grants Accountant at the Center for Victims of Torture (Remote!) Do you have a passion for human rights and a knack for managing complex grants?

The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) is searching for a bright and motivated Senior Grants Accountant to join their team! In this remote role, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of international and US programs that fight torture around the world.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in government grants accounting (experience managing subawards a plus).
• Demonstrated knowledge of US federal grant regulations and international grant accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (familiar with Business Central a plus) and Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to manage and supervise staff effectively.

• Experience building the capacity of grant partners.
• A commitment to human rights work.
