Synoptix Software is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions while leveraging technology to drive better insights and performance metrics for our clients.

• Conducting day-to-day accounting activities, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Generating accurate financial reports and statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Performing financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
• Utilizing Synoptix Software and other technology tools to develop and automate daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for clients.
• Providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and KPI insights to drive business growth and profitability.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assisting in the implementation and optimization of accounting processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus (but not required)
• Proven experience in accounting roles in a similar capacity.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (specifically Quick Books Online)
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to drive technology solutions for enhanced financial reporting and analysis.
