Director, Corporate Accounting

Position Summary

The Director of Corporate Accounting leads the company's general accounting operations, overseeing month‑end close, balance sheet integrity, accounts payable, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting while maintaining a strong control environment.

This role supports technical accounting and corporate reporting, evaluates non‑standard transactions, develops policy, and prepares financial disclosures.

Partnering cross‑functionally with FP&A, IT, and external auditors, the Director drives process improvements, system enhancements, and AI solutions to automate workflows, improve data accuracy, and scale the accounting function across multiple entities.

• Accounting Operations & Close – Own and participate in all month‑end close activities, including review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations; act as primary point of contact for accounting inquiries; manage accounts payable operations and expense reimbursement policy; lead or participate in system implementations and process improvement initiatives; identify and implement AI and automation tools to streamline close processes.
• Treasury & Cash Forecasting – Oversee daily cash activities, review bank transactions and wire approvals; manage transfer pricing and intercompany cash movements, ensuring compliance with global policies and accurate documentation; support preparation of cash flow forecasts and collaborate with FP&A on budgeting and projections.
• Audit, Financial Reporting & Compliance – Assist with annual financial statement audit preparation and ongoing audit requests; evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance reporting, controls, and audit readiness; manage development, documentation, and maintenance of global accounting policies and procedures; research and document technical accounting implications of complex or non‑standard transactions.
• Team Leadership – Foster a culture of innovation, supervise and develop accounting and accounts payable team members, set performance expectations, provide coaching, drive accountability, and establish scalable processes across multiple entities and currencies.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting, consulting, and/or industry experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience managing or mentoring accounting team members.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience with month‑end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet management.
• Proficient in Excel and experience with Workday.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Seasonal overtime required (quarter‑end/year‑end/special project timing).
• AI‑curious with a bias toward applying emerging technologies.

Hybrid position: working from corporate office and home office. Flexible work environment supports remote and corporate settings.
