POSITION OVERVIEW

The Controller is a high‑level support role to the Vice President of Accounting, responsible for General Accounting, Operations, or Financial Reporting. This is an onsite position located in Holland, MI and is not open to hybrid or remote work.
WHATYOU’LL DO
- Oversee a designated functional area to develop and execute strategies to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
- Review and monitor designated functional area accounts and reconciliations.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Assist in the development and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
- Develop reports for management and regulatory bodies based on functional area of responsibility.
- Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.
- Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Maintaining high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures, safety regulations, and promoting a safe workplace.
- 4‑year degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, or equivalent role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- 1‑3 years of leadership experience.
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA).
- Advanced Excel skills.
