Hybrid schedule (2 days work from home)
$60,000 - $75,000 base salary
A growing organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to accurate financial reporting. This role is well-suited for an early-career accounting professional who wants hands-on experience, exposure to core accounting functions, and flexibility through a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Support general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and accounting documentation
- Assist with financial reporting and internal analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed
- Collaborate with finance and accounting team members on ongoing projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of professional accounting experience
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting systems or ERPs a plus
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Base salary range of $60K-$75K, depending on experience
- Hybrid work environment with 2 days remote per week
