Senior Accounting Specialist

Overview

Kingdom Movement is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to help support and strengthen our accounting and financial operations. This part-time role will work alongside our existing bookkeeper to assist with Quick Books Online management, account reconciliations, financial cleanup projects, month-end close processes, and ongoing accounting oversight.

• Support Quick Books Online (QBO) management and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and prepare adjusting journal entries (AJEs).
• Lead or assist with financial cleanup projects and system implementations.
• Contribute to month-end close processes and ongoing accounting oversight.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to bring clarity and structure to financial systems.

• Strong Quick Books Online experience (QBO mastery) is required.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, AJEs, financial controls, and accounting best practices.
• Experience with nonprofit or church accounting; familiarity with bookkeeping reconstruction projects and system implementations is a must.
• Organized, proactive, process-minded, and able to work collaboratively in a ministry environment.

• Part-time (~25 hours/week) at $33.50/hr.
• In-office or remote during the hours the current bookkeeper works.
• Compensation: $33.50 hourly.
