Scope of the Role

The Accounting Assistant provides general accounting assistance within the Accounting & Finance department, handling reconciling invoices, filing, data entry, maintaining records, and supporting other administrative duties. Special projects may be assigned by the Controller or team members.

Reporting Structure

The Accounting Assistant is part of the Accounting & Finance Team, reporting to the Accounting and Finance Management Team and partnering with cross‑functional leaders.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

• General accounting clerical and administrative duties.
• Primary accounting cycles (A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets).
• Prepare and maintain various reports, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Perform special account research, analysis, and reconciliation projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting required.
• Minimum 1+ years required experience in an office setting and/or relevant accounting work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite (must have working knowledge of Excel).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to effectively handle a large number of transactions with strong attention to accuracy.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP, a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule for overtime during month’s end.

The pay range for this full-time position is $20-$26 USD per hour. You will also be eligible to participate in BCP’s benefits program. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job‑related skills and experience.
