Auditor

Responsibilities

• Assist with audits and amended corporate tax return reviews
• Conduct technical reviews of audit work and determine next steps for amended returns
• Collect, organize, and analyze taxpayer data to identify audit opportunities
• Ensure audit methods and procedures comply with Arizona tax laws and regulations
• Support the corporate audit team by updating procedures and recommending process improvements
• Participate in team meetings, one‑on‑ones, and department huddles
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace to manage and analyze data
• Maintain accurate documentation and organized audit records

• Minimum 1 continuous year of corporate tax return experience with a governmental agency or accounting firm
• College degree in Accounting or a closely related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Experience with corporate tax filing and auditing
• Previous experience working in tax compliance or audit environments

• Candidate must attend the first day of orientation onsite in Phoenix, AZ
