Accountant - Remote

Genesis
10 is currently seeking an Accountant – Remote position with a major financial services company located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.

• Perform transactional accounting for the client's field offices.
• Process vouchers, enter journal entries, and process commissions using JD Edwards.
• Complete monthly period-closing reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll and 1099 processing.
• Train new contractors and maintain relationships with assigned offices.
• Handle office-specific accounting projects as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries (debits/credits).
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to commit to the position for at least one year.

• Experience with JD Edwards accounting system.
• Experience with commission processing.
