A global manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing operation in Shelbyville.
This role offers strong exposure to operational accounting, inventory and costing analysis, financial reporting, and internal controls within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial close and reporting process
- Manage costing and inventory accounting activities
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls
- Assist with audits and external communications
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Stable work history
- Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing or operational accounting environment
- Strong communicator who can work effectively across departments
- Professional and dependable with leadership potential
- Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Independent worker who does not require constant oversight
