The Revenue Accountant supports the company's revenue accounting and billing processes by helping ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. This role assists with revenue recognition, billing activities, month-end close responsibilities, and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Sales, and Operations.
What is the role?As a Revenue Accountant, you will support revenue accounting operations, billing processes, and month-end close activities while gaining exposure to revenue recognition principles and the order-to-cash cycle. You'll work closely with experienced accounting professionals and cross-functional teams to help maintain accurate financial records, resolve billing issues, and contribute to process improvements.

What will you do?- Assist with reviewing customer contracts and orders to support accurate billing and revenue recognition.
- Support billing operations and help maintain accurate customer invoicing.
- Investigate and help resolve billing discrepancies by partnering with Sales, Account Management, Accounts Receivable, and other internal teams.
- Assist with month‑end close activities, including revenue‑related reconciliations and reporting.
- Support compliance with revenue recognition policies and internal controls.
- Help maintain revenue accounting documentation and processes.
- Generate reports and provide data support for internal teams and customers as needed.
- Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Assist with audits and ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Perform other accounting‑related duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of accounting, finance, billing, revenue accounting, accounts receivable, or related experience.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a revenue accounting function.

Location:- This is a hybrid role based in our St. Louis (Creve Coeur) office, offering a balance of in‑office collaboration three days per week and remote work two days per week.
