Experienced Tax Manager

Job Description

Tax Manager responsible for managing the workflow of the entire tax department, communicating with clients, mentoring staff accountants, and preparing and reviewing complex S‑corporation, C‑corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns. The role focuses on tax planning, implementing tax strategies, and representing clients before tax agencies.

• High‑end preparation of business and individual tax returns.
• Comprehensive tax planning for multiple types and levels of clients.
• Assess business transactions and prepare accurate reports on findings.
• Stay up‑to‑date on industry changes and regulatory updates.
• Respond to tax and accounting related issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• CPA or EA required with at least 7 years experience as a certified public accountant.
• Outstanding knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of accounting software and MS Office; knowledge of Thomson Reuters software preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client‑management skills.

Salary: $140,000 – $165,000 per year with opportunities for commissions, bonuses, and other incentives.
