Full-charge Bookkeeper
$80,000 - $110,000 per year | Gainesville, GA | On-Site | Permanent

A bit about us:A growing home builder is seeking a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment and can take ownership of the full accounting cycle while supporting multiple entities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and customer billing
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end close and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate job costing records and support work‑in‑progress tracking
- Handle payroll processing and related entries
- Support intercompany transactions across multiple entities
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
Assist with budgeting and provide reporting support as needed - Collaborate with leadership and accounting team to improve processes
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience
- Experience in construction accounting required
- Understanding of job costing and WIP reporting
- Multi‑entity accounting experience is a plus
- Experience in Sage 300/Timberline and Quick Books is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
