Accounting Strategic Operations Manager- Remote

The Accounting Transformation Manager will lead and/or be a key stakeholder in various finance and accounting initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities. This role will also serve as a technical accounting liaison for various business projects and research and conclude on the accounting treatment for significant transactions, ensuring adequate internal controls are established and that the accounting processes are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA
• 5 plus years of combined accounting and relevant experience
• Strong project management skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong complex problem solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with all levels of management and associates
• Advanced computer competency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Advanced understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Experience performing technical accounting research and applying GAAP to specific facts and circumstances
