We are looking for a hands‑on accounting professional who will take ownership of core general ledger activities and support the financial reporting function. This role involves journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, analysis, and participation in closing processes. The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
This position is hybrid, remote two days and on‑site for three days a week.
Duties- Ensure timely and accurate billing of customers including monthly remittance of invoices, new client setup, application of payments and follow-up with client inquiries.
- Prepare and record journal entries including recurring monthly entries, cash transactions, reclasses, and other entries as directed by the supervisor.
- Work closely during month‑end close to meet the respective deadline and provide accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review General Ledger Account Reconciliations including analyzing and recording monthly accruals.
- Track fixed assets and review depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information aligns with business operations and support cross‑functional financial needs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities as it relates to the job roles area of responsibility.
- Complete other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
- Undergraduate degree (B.S. or equivalent) in accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years progressive accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups and handling large amounts of data) required.
- Experience in Net Suite a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Series (Excel, Word and Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn and use job‑specific computer programs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
