Core Responsibilities
As our Remote Billing Specialist, you will ensure high accuracy across our real estate accounting records. This role handles transactions, agent commission allocations, and vendor statements.
- Process, verify, and track monthly client billing statements and invoices.
- Record incoming credit card, check, and online transfer payments accurately.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances politely and professionally.
- Manage, reconcile, and resolve billing discrepancies or ledger errors.
- Maintain secure, digital records of agent files, vendor history, and client contacts.
- Support our internal accounting department with month-end financial reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in bookkeeping, billing, or accounts receivable.
- Software: Proven proficiency with Quick Books Online and advanced Microsoft Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, basic formulas).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on numerical accuracy and error-free data entry.
- Confidentiality: High level of discretion and trustworthiness regarding sensitive financial data.
- Workspace: Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home office setup.
