• Salary: $90,000 -- $120,000 (DOE)

We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a Japanese-English bilingual accounting or tax professional to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 3-5 years of accounting, audit, or tax experience who are looking to continue growing their career in a collaborative and flexible work environment.

Depending on the candidate’s background and experience, responsibilities may focus on accounting, tax, audit-related support, or a combination of these areas.

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and supporting schedules
• Handle month-end/year-end closing, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
• Support tax compliance, reporting, and advisory services
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting and tax matters
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
• Stay current with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry updates

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, audit, tax, consulting, public accounting, or in-house accounting/tax
• Big 4 or similar public accounting firm experience is highly preferred
• CPA or EA license is not required; however, candidates pursuing certification or with relevant coursework are highly preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and/or tax compliance
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Japanese-English bilingual required
• Native-level Japanese preferred
