• $45–$80/hour, depending on experience What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform audit engagements for municipal and commercial clients
  • Complete audit fieldwork, testing, and documentation
  • Assist with year-end audit projects and reporting requirements
  • Analyze financial records and supporting documentation
  • Communicate findings and audit progress with internal teams
  • Participate in occasional onsite municipal audit fieldwork in the Montgomery area
  • Maintain compliance with applicable auditing standards
  What You’ll Need to Be Considered
  • 3-5 years of public accounting audit experience required
  • Active CPA license required
  • MUST RESIDE IN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO Montgomery, AL
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience with audit software
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to travel locally for occasional municipal audit fieldwork
  • Familiarity with governmental auditing standards, GASB, Single Audits, or Yellow Book audits
