As a Controller at Books Time, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor and accounting lead for a portfolio of clients while collaborating with an international bookkeeping team to deliver exceptional financial support and service. • Lead accounting relationships for a portfolio of clients
• Build trusted advisor relationships with clients
• Review and analyze financial statements
• Serve as a high-level accounting resource for complex issues
• Support and mentor bookkeeping teams
• Collaborate with internal teams on special projects and process initiatives
• This role focuses on oversight, advisory work, problem-solving, and relationship management.

• Comfortable leading client relationships independently
• Friendly, professional, and an excellent communicator
• Experienced in accounting for multiple small businesses or organizations
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Adaptable and comfortable learning new technologies
• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
• Ideal backgrounds may include:
  Controller/CFO, Accounting Manager, Client Advisory Services (CAS), Outsourced Accounting, Public accounting or bookkeeping firm experience
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems is required. We work with clients using a wide variety of tools and platforms, so adaptability is important.
